Learning a new language doesn't have to be a difficult process, on the contrary it can be fun and entertaining.

One of the tips that I like to share with my students is to watch videos, movies and series in Italian so that little by little they train their ears to understand the different contexts, accents, slang and uses of the language through stories and characters that could be entertaining for them.

Do you remember when you could not connect to the internet and be on the phone at the same time because the connection "dropped"? If you answered yes, surely you remember that one of the most influential moments of the 90's was the arrival of the internet. This show tells the story of a group of friends from a small Italian town who bring back memories of what life was like when the internet was no faster than 56K. This show is fresh and fun and will surely help you increase your vocabulary.

Baby

If drama and controversial stories are your thing, you will enjoy this series, which is based on a real case that happened in Rome in 2013. Baby tells the story of two teenagers who live in one of the most luxurious areas of the city and in order to achieve economic independence, designer clothes and new phones, among other luxuries, they enter the world of prostitution. Baby takes us into a raw story that show us how the search for independence and identity can lead two teenagers to rebel against the rules of society through a secret life.

Curon

This series tells the story of Anna who after 17 years returns to her hometown, Curon, along with her children and little by little they will face a terrible curse that stalks the town. It is perfect to practice your Italian if you like stories of mysterious towns, disappearances and local legends since the town of Curon does exist, it is located in the north of Italy and there is indeed a dark local legend around the town.
